Blue & Berry Café
About This Spot
Stepping into Blue & Berry Café feels a bit like coming home to a familiar kitchen where the scent of freshly brewed coffee softly mingles with the comforting warmth of morning light. Nestled on Hamilton Road in Felixstowe, this spot invites a gentle pace—a place where the hum of quiet conversation blends with the clink of cups and the occasional friendly greeting from attentive servers. It’s a relaxed slice of everyday life, perfect for those moments when you want to settle in, linger over your food, and just be.
The atmosphere here strikes a balance between the simplicity of a classic English café and the thoughtful touches that make each visit personal. There’s an inviting spaciousness that welcomes families, couples, and solo visitors alike, offering room to relax without feeling rushed. Whether it’s the careful way the team finds a table to accommodate a pram and a dog, or the subtle kindness in their service, you get the sense this is a place attuned to people more than anything else.
At Blue & Berry, breakfast is more than just a meal — it’s a gentle start framed by familiar flavors with a bit of choice and care woven in. The kitchen takes time with the basics, from eggs cooked just the way you like, to hearty toast that has earned its place on many plates. Coffee here carries its own quiet pride, served in comforting cups large or small, each sip unfolding slowly as you watch the world outside or engage in easy conversation.
For those who turn up a bit later in the day, lighter options and thoughtful sandwiches offer a satisfying pause without fuss, yet with enough detail to feel special. The menu’s subtle flexibility means diners can tailor meals to their liking, a nod to the everyday rhythms of its regulars.
Blue & Berry isn’t flashy or fast-paced. It’s a dependable part of Felixstowe’s morning and midday narrative, where the moments between bites hold as much value as the food itself. It’s a café that honors the art of simple pleasures and genuine connection — a place where the quiet kindness in the service and the steady warmth in the atmosphere leave you feeling quietly content, ready for whatever comes next.

A decent breakfast, good quality beans. Sausage a bit over cooked. Nice bread. Good coffee in regular and large sizes. Servers were nice and good at their jobs. Nice and spacious.

Came here with my family for brunch. The staff were very helpful in finding us a table (with one elderly man, a pram and a dog) we all ordered food which was well presented and very tasty. Highly recommend!

It's an excelent place to eat fresh food or just to take a coffee, but the best it's the service

Came in for a light lunch and Nd the food was delicious. Served really quickly and super polite service. We had an egg Benedict, and two of us had the English breakfast. Loved that it was itemised so you can choose exactly what you want. Really lovely! Perfect cup of tea and a delicious mango and passion fruit smoothie. We will be back!

The Blue Nan was a place i spotted on Google before departing on my trip to Felixstowe. Although i fancied fish and chips all day, we decided to pop in for a curry as it was inly down the road rrom our hotel. The first thing is that this place dies not serve alcohol. On asking why, it was stated by the change of owner that it was because if his religious belief. He tells you this at the door so the choice is yours whether to stay ir go. I ordered a Lamb Vindaloo. I have been making and eating curries for years and i can tell you that this was the best, tastiest curry that i have ever had. The owner done the rounds talking to his customers which was a nice touch before realising that he was promoting his YouTube channel and New book as stating that he taught the chefs in the kitchen how to create the food. Can't blame him o suppose. They are all doing it these days. Well, apart from me. I must be missing out on something perhaps? A recommended place to visit.

We visited Blue & Berry for the first time on Friday and had a wonderful experience. I do love a full English breakfast so we thought we would give this establishment a try and we’re very glad we did. The staff were excellent, good humoured and clearly enjoy their role and customer interaction. Between serving customers they clean and have great pride in the cleanliness which was outstanding. The food was great, cooked perfectly, was very well presented and high quality. It arrived quickly and was piping hot. This establishment is highly recommended and we shall certainly be back! Thank you
